Been a long while....................

Hey everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know I am still actively seeking music talent for inclusion in a large body of filmic work on the basis of provision of tracks for score.

I have been pursuing several very talented bands over the last couple of years, a handful of whom will be performing tracks for inclusion on the soundtracks to HARD SHOULDER, HOTEL CALEDONIA, and INFECTED.

I am looking for further bands to bring into the "Oceanstorm Sounds" fold with a view to helping them break onto a much larger international stage than they would otherwise be able to. The deal is a sinmple one and non-inhibiting for your future success. so make an enquiry if you think you have what it takes.

I have just acquired a new solo artist to my label , a young woman, with tremendous stage presence and future potential for inclusion on the HARD SHOULDER soundtrack - listen out for her (name with-held for now) when the film premieres in cinemas late in 2010, early 2011.

So keep your enquiries coming - I'm always on the look out for new talent.

Best,

Nick

The film industry enters a new phase as Oceanstorm Films takes under its creative wing a select number of unsigned bands to create the sound that will ultimately come to identify the horror comedy film that is HOTEL CALEDONIA.

With so much opportunity afforded to only those musicians, filmmakers, and artists already in the public eye, breaking through the barriers to artistic success have never been harder. The digital age of recording, both music and film, has heralded an increase in the number of independents all looking for a slice of the dream. Home recording has brought the cost of self publication to the masses. But success can never be guaranteed and remains as elusive as ever.

Taking chances as they arise, and by the scruff of the neck, has become a vitally important mantra, and Oceanstorm Films, who themselves have sweated blood and tears to create the development and production of a £2m feature film as industry unknowns, are extending a chance in a lifetime, to a handful of unsigned bands, for them to promote their music on the international stage - through participation in a 'to-be-internationally-distributed' feature film.

These bands, all wonderfully talented musicians and desperate for success, will thereafter be signed, managed, toured, provided extensive recording opportunity, and marketed to an international audience in an effort to break through at the highest levels. It's a challenge of that there is no doubt. But then nothing is easy, and those who wait for their ship to come in will be waiting a long, long time.

Keep an eye wide open for each one of these bands - they just might be headlining a big event near you, in the very near future!
